Hi, I’m Alicia Goldy — mom, childcare professional, and founder of Blue Ridge Babysitting Co.

After building Blue Harbor Babysitting Co., a coastal babysitting brand serving families across New Jersey and Florida, I wanted to bring that same quality and peace of mind inland — with a Nashville twist.

Blue Ridge was born from my love of family, community, and the outdoors. It’s a place where professionalism meets heart, and where local families find sitters who feel more like neighbors than strangers.

Each Ridge Scout completes a government ID + selfie verification through Stripe Identity, ensuring every sitter’s identity is confirmed by a trusted third party.
For sitters who drive, we also review motor vehicle reports and run a nationwide background check before any referral.
